The management team at Integrated has a proven track record with many leading-edge companies, supporting all phases of the decision making cycle — from the highest level strategic planning to real-time operational systems. As a group, they have been involved in the conceptualization, design, development and implementation of a wide range of innovative systems solutions.

Richard A. Murphy, Ph.D. - Founder, Chairman, CEO
Dr. Murphy has over 30 years experience in the transportation industry and is internationally known for innovations in logistics decision support — his work is published extensively in leading professional journals. Many of these technical developments form the basis of the proprietary algorithms employed by Integrated. In addition to being CEO, Rick provides thought leadership and is responsible for the strategic management of product development and business development. Prior to founding IDSC in 1990, Dr. Murphy held the following positions: Senior VP Technology, Schneider National Inc; President and Founder, Optimal Decision Systems Inc., Associate Professor(tenured) at the University of Cincinnati, and Senior Management Scientist at The Procter and Gamble Co. Rick is a co-author of patent application 10/904,868 "Automatic Batch Data Processing System with Enhanced Interoperability"

Benjamin J. Murphy - President and Chief Operating Officer
Ben has been COO since 2002 leading a period of dramatic growth for the company. He is responsible for the tactical management and the management of day-to-day operations. Ben leads the business and key account development process and provides support to the primary functions of the organization as needed. Historically he has been responsible for initial and subsequent sale of products and services to several major and strategic accounts. Most recently Ben led IDSC’s entry into the 3PL market. In his 15 year career at IDSC, Ben has served in the rank and ultimately as the leader in all functions of the company. He’s served as a consultant to scores of truckload carriers and is frequently an invited speaker at industry functions. Ben is a co-author of patent application 10/904,868 "Automatic Batch Data Processing System with Enhanced Interoperability"

David A. Harris - Vice President of Sales
Dave has over 28 years of transportation industry experience. He manages the Sales Team and is responsible for all client server sales. Prior to joining IDSC in 1998, Dave held the following positions: General Manager, Baylor Trucking Inc.; Vice President Information Services, D.M. Bowman, Inc.; Manager Technical Support, Schneider National Inc. While at Schneider National Inc., Dave was the leader of the Information Services project to combine all SNI companies into a single Transportation Management System. He also led the opening of the West Memphis Operations center. Dave developed numerous operational tools for the improvement of utilization and On-time service management winning him the recognition at Schneider National as "The Tool Maker".
In his career, Dave has consulted with over 100 carriers on technology and operations issues. Dave served two years on the ATA Technology Council Board of Directors and is a frequent invited speaker at industry conferences.

David McKinney - Vice President of Professional Services
David oversees the integration, implementation, internet services, consulting and support teams for Integrated. After joining IDSC in 1999 in customer service, David has held the positions of Customer Service Manager, Business Development Manager and Director of Professional Services. Through experience with enterprise software implementations with over one hundred leading carriers across the United States and Canada, David has gained a solid understanding of the challenges facing the transportation industry, the requirements of legacy platform integration, and the application of technology to solve business issues. His leadership in Professional Services continues IDSC's mission to provide quality software, superior support, and strong ROI for each IDSC solution. David holds degrees from Baylor University in Information Technology and Real Estate.

Xiaodong Zhang, Ph.D. - Chief Scientist
Dr. Zhang is responsible for the architecture, design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of IDSC proprietary algorithms and databases. Dr. Zhang’s expertise in optimization and computer science has been an integral part of IDSC since he joined the organization in 2001. Prior to becoming Chief Scientist, Dr. Zhang was Director of development and was responsible for the development and maintenance of client-server products. He also played a key role in the development of web-services and proprietary databases. Prior to joining IDSC, Dr. Zhang held the position of Senior Operations Research Analyst at Federal Express. At Federal Express Dr. Zhang worked on several optimization projects involving crew pairing and bid line generation. Dr. Zhang has the following degrees: Ph.D. in Operations Research, MSc in Computer Science and BSc in Applied Mathematics and has published several articles in leading professional journals.Dr. Zhang was awarded third prize in the China Senior High Mathematics Competition.

Chris Breazeal - Vice President of Development
Chris has over 20 years of software design, development, and management experience and leads the development of IDSC’s client-server products and web-based services. Prior to joining IDSC in 2005, Chris was Lead Developer at BMC Software where he focused on the development of best-of-breed database tools, and has held software development positions at Lockheed Martin and Motorola, as well as Instructor of Mathematics positions at Arkansas State University and Texas State University. Chris has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Mathematics from Arkansas State University.

Julie Bixby - Director Of Administration
Julie oversees the daily operation and management of all accounting, human resources, Information Technology, and contract administration for IDSC. Julie is the project manager for the IDSC Annual Users Conference. Prior to joining IDSC in 2003, Julie was Director of Production for Computer Automation Systems, Inc. She was technical support manager for MapLinx Corp. in Dallas, TX for four years and prior to that she was employed at Fun/Ed as a software instructor. Julie has a Bachelor’s degree from SMU.
