C&C Trucking Licenses Planning and Execution Solutions from Integrated to Accelerate Profits
12.03.2003 Duncan, South Carolina -
C&C Trucking, specializing in truckload and expedited freight, servicing the Eastern United States and Ontario, Canada, has licensed Netwise®, Expert Fuel® and Out-of-Route/Estimated Time of Arrival Alert® (OOR/ETA Alert) from the suite of software solutions by Integrated Decision Support Corporation (Integrated). These planning and execution solutions are designed to guide and direct a motor carrier on how to improve the quality of freight and improve utilization while controlling assets and minimizing costs for accelerated profitability.

"We plan to take advantage of the power of Netwise to help find the customer lanes that are profitable and working well as well as the customer lanes that need improvement," said Greg Grubbs, President of C&C Trucking. "Expert Fuel and OOR/ETA Alert will help us to minimize fuel costs and track our entire fleet minute-by-minute."

Netwise provides the yield-based continuous profitability backbone for all functions within the enterprise. Specific functions include yield management, shipper bid response, "what-if" analysis, and optimization of the freight mix. An essential benefit of Netwise is the knowledge of the yield of all logistical moves--past, present and hypothetically.

Expert Fuel saves between 4 and 11 cents per gallon per truck by providing drivers with guidance on which route to run, the fuel stops to make, and the amount of fuel to purchase in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles. Customers realize added service and security with real-time notification of potential late arrivals, and are able to be proactive and prevent service failures using OOR/ETA Alert. OOR/ETA Alert also identifies swap candidates which allow the dispatcher to exchange loads in-transit in order to minimize service failures while maximizing equipment utilization and driver time at home.

"We are very pleased with C&C Trucking's decision to install our truckload solutions systems," said Dave Harris, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Integrated. "We look forward to working with them to maximize the return on investment in our technology and accelerate profits through an efficient utilization of their fleet and driving out the most cost possible."
