Floyd and Beasley Transfer To Install Integrated Decision Support Software .
09.26.2002 Sycamore, AL -
Floyd and Beasley Transfer Company- has signed a contract with Integrated Decision Support Corporation, Richardson, Texas, to license Expert FuelŪ and OOR/ETA AlertŪ.

Through real-time optimization, Expert FuelŪ determines where to buy fuel at the lowest cost by providing drivers with guidance on which route to run, the fuel stops to make, and the amount of fuel to purchase in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles. Other functions that this product offers are detailed routing and the ability to have multiple fuel networks with different discount structures. OOR/ETA AlertŪ (Out-of-Route/Estimated Time of Arrival) is a real-time management tool integrated into the Expert FuelŪ optimization to minimize out-of-route miles and service failures. It automatically notifies the fleet manager or dispatcher of out-of-route and/or projected late power units based on the planned routing. By using these two products jointly, customers will see a substantial reduction in their costs.

IDSC's products are designed as enterprise tools, which fully integrate with the host dispatch systems, mobile communications systems, and routing software. Designed to improve profitability and lower operating costs, IDSC's optimization software allows for easy use without leaving the host dispatch system environment. Floyd and Beasley is currently using ICC's dispatch system.

Floyd and Beasley Transfer Company chose IDSC's decision support products after comparing other optimization products. "We determined the IDSC's program was not only the best optimization tool for our company but because Integrated is continuously improving the tools they develop, we are assured of continuous improvement." Said Mr. Mark Payne, Vice President and CFO for Floyd and Beasley Transfer Company. "We are especially excited about the OOR/ETA AlertŪ. We believe that with the notification of potential late arrivals we can pro-actively prevent service failures and improve security with this tool."
