Gainey Corporation Improves Business Model with Decision Support Software from Integrated Decision Support Corporation
11.10.2003 Richardson, Texas -
Integrated Decision Support Corporation (Integrated) announced today that customer Gainey Corporation has licensed Netwise®, Netwise400® and Match Advice® from the suite of Integrated's planning optimization software to enhance the value of services they provide to their customers.

"We are very pleased about our new affiliation with Integrated. Their suite of software products will provide us with invaluable information on our existing and potential operations, allowing us to enhance the value of our services to our customers. Netwise will allow us to gain a fresh insight into our operation and provide the critical information needed to continually improve upon our business model. After carefully evaluating many decision support technologies available, we chose Integrated for the breadth of information their tools provide, as well as its ease of use," said Brent Jordan, Executive Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Operations.

Gainey will apply Netwise, Integrated's yield management tool, to calculate and direct profitability actions within their freight network. Measuring yield, Netwise determines the profitability of an existing customer, lane and load and determines what action must be taken to improve profitability. Netwise can also run large bids, conduct "what if" analysis and help determine pricing and market balances. Netwise400, a resident AS/400 system, will allow Gainey's frontline managers access to key business intelligence to enhance their ability to make profitable business decisions.

Match Advice provides real-time guidance on power-to-load match. Based on the Netwise engine, Match Advice considers all relevant factors to maximize profits while honoring customer service requirements and satisfying driver needs. Match Advice ensures that the appropriate load-to-power match is assigned to maximize profitability, improve driver time-at-home, reduce in-transit delays and preclude the need for excessive load relays.

The complete suite of software products from Integrated interfaces with Netgraf, a powerful geographical information system. Netgraf graphically displays complex business data making it easy to analyze historical lane flow, real-time power and load data, real-time fuel networks, purchase information and real-time out-of-route information on a map of North America.

"We are excited about Gainey Corporation's decision to install Netwise, Netwise400 and Match Advice," said Kevin Smith, Area Sales Manager at Integrated. "Gainey Corporation continues to be a hugely successful and highly respected member of the truckload industry. While these optimization tools provide great value individually, additional synergies can be realized by tightly integrating these systems together. Harvey Gainey has a very keen insight into where the truckload industry is heading. Integrated's suite of decision support tools will provide him with information required to lead the way."

About Gainey Corporation
Gainey Corporation, parent of transportation providers Gainey Transportation Services, Super Service, Inc., Lester Coggins Trucking, Inc., and Aero Bulk Carriers, Inc., began operations as Gainey Transportation Services (GTS) in 1984 as an unincorporated trucking brokerage service. Primarily utilizing owner-operators, Gainey later became an agent for Ligon Nationwide, a national truckload carrier. With enough financing for ten trailers and a small operating line of credit, the company began operation on August 1, 1985. Gainey Corporation continued their growth with the purchase of Aero Bulk Carriers. Super Service and Lester Coggins Trucking were added in 1993, expanding its portfolio of services. Following the simple philosophy that Harvey N. Gainey has instilled in his employees, the company has grown from 5 tractors and 10 trailers in 1984, to over 1100 tractors and over 2500 trailers in 1999.
