Jim Palmer Trucking, delivering best-in-class transportation services for over 30 years, has installed Expert FuelŪ and Out of Route/ETA AlertŪ software from Integrated Decision Support Corporation (Integrated) to lower fuel costs and monitor fleet security.
"Expert Fuel and Out of Route/ETA Alert helps us significantly lower our fueling costs and to improve fuel management while providing added service and security that we can pass on to our customers," said Scott Seaton, Manager of MIS for Jim Palmer Trucking. "Our trucks are equipped with Qualcomm satellite tracking devices which allows our dispatchers immediate access concerning our customers' shipments. Because the fuel solution is sent via Qualcomm directly to the truck, the process is simple and seamless for our drivers and management team."
Currently saving existing clients between 4 and 11 cents per gallon, Expert Fuel is designed to accelerate profits by minimizing fuel costs. By taking advantage of the variation of fuel price by geographic location and between fuel networks, Expert Fuel creates fuel savings by determining the appropriate fuel locations to utilize and the corresponding amount of fuel to be purchased at each location. Out of Route/ETA Alert is a real-time management tool integrated into the Expert Fuel optimization to minimize out-of-route miles and service failures. OOR/ETA Alert also offers proactive swap opportunities for improving equipment and driver utilization and customer service.
