National Carriers To Install Integrated Decision Support Software
02.15.2001 Liberal, KS -
National Carriers Inc., an irregular route truckload refrigerated carrier serving all 48 states and Canada and offering a complete line of fully integrated Logistics Services, announced today that it has selected decision support tools from Integrated Decision Support Corporation of Richardson, Texas. In particular, National Carriers Inc. has signed a contract for the installation of Expert Fuel®, Netwise®, Netwise®400, and Match Advice®.

Expert Fuel® minimizes fuel costs by providing an optimal fuel plan at the time of dispatch. Netwise® provides continuous profitability improvement. Specific functions include yield management, shipper bid response, "what-if" analysis, and optimization of the freight mix. Netwise® 400 is a resident AS/400 system that provides the frontline with access to key yield management intelligence. Match Advice optimizes the assignment of drivers to loads in order to maximize profitability while at the same time satisfying customer service requirements and driver time-at-home commitments.

"After a thorough analysis of providers of optimization-based decision support software, we concluded that Integrated's technology best fit our needs. We are convinced that this technology will provide us with a competitive edge," said Mr. Gary Denning, President of National Carriers Inc.

"We are very pleased with National Carriers' decision to install our suite of truckload decision support systems" said Dr. Rick Murphy, President of Integrated. "The management team at National Carriers is first-rate and we are excited about working with them to maximize the return on their investment in our technology."
