| Trans-Systems, Inc. Installs Integrated's Decision Support Tools |

Trans-Systems, Inc., the parent company of three freight hauling divisions: System Transport, the flatbed division, T. W. Transport (TWT), a refrigerated van operation, and James J. Williams, a bulk commodities hauling operation, has installed Expert Fuel®, OOR/ETA Alert® and Netgraf® transportation optimization software from Integrated Decision Support (Integrated).
Through real-time optimization, Expert Fuel determines where to buy fuel at the lowest cost by providing drivers with guidance on which route to run, the fuel stops to make, and the amount of fuel to purchase in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles. Other functions that this product offers are detailed routing and the ability to have multiple fuel networks with different discount structures. OOR/ETA Alert (Out-of-Route/Estimated Time of Arrival) is a real-time management tool integrated into the Expert Fuel optimization to minimize out-of-route miles and service failures. It automatically notifies the fleet manager or dispatcher of out-of-route and/or projected late power units based on the planned routing. By using these two products jointly, customers will see a substantial reduction in their costs. Expert Fuel currently saves customers between 4 and 11 cents per gallon.
Netgraf interfaces to both Expert Fuel and OOR/ETA Alert. The Netgraf system graphically displays all power units either running late or out-of-route as well as those power units on time and on route. For any power unit you may display the planned route along with the current position. Netgraf also provides a graphical interface to help in fuel network design and management.
