The Transit Group Inc. has signed a contract for the installation of NetwiseŽ, and NetwiseŽ400. NetwiseŽ provides continuous profitability improvement. Specific functions include yield management, shipper bid response, "what-if" analysis, and optimization of the freight mix. NetwiseŽ 400, a resident IBM AS/400 system that provides access to key yield management intelligence, empowers the frontline to be knowledge workers capable of soliciting the most profitable freight, maximizing equipment utilization, and driver time at home.
