Integrated Decision Support Corporation announces the availability of a full line of decision support technologies for the truckload transportation industry which is designed to tightly integrate with the client's dispatch system.
Some of the industry issues addressed by Integrated's product suite include: power-to-load optimization, fuel purchase optimization, yield optimization, load swapping, load consolidation, and logistics optimization. "We are very excited to offer our carrier partners this full line of decision support systems. Now carriers have the ability to optimize all facets of their business through one vendor," said Dr. Richard Murphy, President of IDSC. "We've responded to our customers requests to provide a suite of decision support systems which are both tightly integrated with each other and can be implemented separately. NETWISEŽ provides the yield-based continuous profitability backbone for all functions of the enterprise. Specific functions include: yield management, shipper bid response, profitability scoreboards, acquisition analysis, "what-if" analysis, and optimization of the freight mix.
NETWISEŽ 400 is a resident AS/400 system that utilizes the NetwiseŽ profitability data to provide access to key business intelligence without leaving the dispatch system.
NETWISEŽ YIELD OPTIMIZATION provides real-time guidance on the freight accept/reject/solicit functions in order to maximize profits. Based on the NetwiseŽ engine, it provides an accurate minute-by-minute forecast to the yield optimization. A key feature of NetwiseŽ Yield Optimization is its e-solicitŽ Internet freight solicitation engine that automatically solicits freight via email.
MATCH ADVICEŽ provides real-time guidance on power-to-load match. Based on the NetwiseŽ engine, Match AdviceŽ considers all relevant factors to maximize profits while honoring customer service requirements and satisfying driver needs.
SWAP ADVICEŽ provides real-time guidance on load swapping to maximize driver/equipment utilization, minimize service failures, and maximize driver time at home. Swap Advice interfaces to Expert FuelŽ so that fuel optimization and swap optimizations are coordinated.
EXPERT FUELŽ is a Real-Time optimization which provides drivers with guidance on the route to run and the fuel stops to make in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles.
ETA/OOR ALERT is a module which interfaces to Expert FuelŽ and the mobile communications system to determine if a driver is out-of-route and/or is going to be late. The system provides automatic notification via the dispatch system.
NETWISEŽ LOGISTICS OPTIMIZATION is composed of two modules: Load Consolidation and Carrier selection. Load Consolidation combines LTL orders into direct or multi-stop truckload shipments. Carrier Selection optimizes the use of purchased capacity based on price, performance, and carrier capacity.
