West Side Unlimited, Corp. has added Out-of-Route/Estimated Time of Arrival Alert® (OOR/ETA Alert) transportation software from Integrated Decision Support (Integrated). West Side currently licenses Expert Fuel® to reduce fuel costs and Netwise® to improve the quality and profitability of existing freight.
"It was important to select software that would quickly and easily integrate with our existing advanced technology-based systems," said Dale Lavin, Fuel Manager at West Side. Expert Fuel is the leading fuel optimization program saving customers between 4 and 11 cents per gallon by providing an optimized route and fuel purchase plan at the time of dispatch. OOR/ETA further reduces costs and improves customer service by providing real-time notification of out-of-route trucks and late loads. OOR/ETA Alert can also recommend possible relay/swap solutions and provide adequate driver time at home (TAH).
Netwise, Integrated's yield management tool, quickly identifies potential continuous moves and cycles, providing higher utilization and determines the effectiveness of an existing customer, lane, and load to analyze what action must be taken to improve profitability. Netwise can also run large bids, conduct "what if" analysis and help determine pricing and market balances.
