Zimmerman Truck Lines, Inc. Selects Expert Fuel and Out-of-Route/ETA Software from Integrated
09.15.2003 Mifflintown, Pennsylvania -
Zimmerman Truck Lines, Inc., a family owned and operated business providing industry leading transportation since 1984, has licensed Expert Fuel® and Out-of-Route/Estimated Time of Arrival Alert® (OOR/ETA Alert) transportation software from Integrated Decision Support Corporation (Integrated) to save on fuel costs, reduce out-of-route miles, and to monitor fleet security.

Expert Fuel is the premier real-time fuel optimization program providing drivers with guidance on the route to run and the fuel stops to make in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles. Customers can expect a savings of 4 to 11 cents per gallon per truck, and more when fuel prices are high. Expert Fuel considers all relevant fuel issues including tax and network implications, route, terminal fueling & tank fill policies and driver amenities all within seconds and at the time of dispatch. OOR/ETA Alert is a real-time management tool that interfaces with Expert Fuel and the mobile communications system to determine if a driver is out-of-route and/or is going to be late. OOR/ETA Alert doubles return on investment by tracking high-value cargo and hazmat security while reducing costs in out-of-route miles. OOR/ETA Alert also offers proactive swap opportunities for improving equipment and driver utilization and customer service.

"We see Integrated's optimization software as a competitive differentiator. It's another way to maximize our return on investment in mobile communications and dispatch technology," said Ron Zimmerman, President and CEO of Zimmerman Truck Lines. "These systems will offer us even greater ability to provide on-time, economical, safe, and secure service to our customers."

"Our software is engineered to drive profitability while meeting customer demands," said Kevin Smith, Area Sales Manager for Integrated. "We are pleased to work with Zimmerman and are committed to supporting their business goals."
