| What is Match Advice®? |
Match Advice is the industry’s premier power-to-load match optimization program. It’s the first of its kind, introduced by IDSC in 1978. Match Advice makes the extremely complex process of load planning more efficient by providing load planners with real-time optimized solutions and guidance on dispatching practices to help make the best decisions on driver work assignments.
Power-to-load match optimization is the most technologically advanced approach to systematically assigning the most profitable trucks with the most profitable loads—with every dispatch.

| How does it work? |
Match Advice integrates seamlessly with your existing dispatch and mobile communications systems for real-time or on-demand data transfer and capture. Match Advice is integrated into your host computer to operate as a “black box”. The capacity load information is extracted from the host computer and sent to the Match Advice server. This entire process happens automatically with the option for the load planner or dispatcher to review the solutions prior to the assignment or have the loads pre-assigned automatically.
Match Advice understands that velocity and utilization are key when considering each truck with each load. By using a global optimization, Match Advice sees across boundaries to find the best power-to-load match without being restricted by state borders or geographic regions.

| How will Match Advice increase revenue and decrease cost? |
Match Advice increases loaded miles per truck per day by 10% by taking full advantage of all opportunities, including those in neighboring regions, and while satisfying customer requirements and driver needs. This provides optimum balance between waiting for an assignment and running empty miles. It also minimizes the number of service failures for the system over time and equalizes driver miles over time.
Match Advice specializes in real-time optimization of the power-to-load match to increase capacity utilization and reduce empty miles by as much as 15%. Match Advice considers all key factors including driver hours, customer requirements, geographic restrictions, driver home, profitability, and more to: increase load ratio to reduce empty miles, maximize profit by matching the most profitable truck with the most profitable load, keep customers and drivers satisfied, and ensure you get the most out of your assets.

A feature unique only to Match Advice is the ability to integrate with IDSC’s network design solution, Netwise®. This allows Match Advice to use forecasting data from the Netwise engine and to use “yield” as one of the criteria for profitability measurement.
